BECOME AN EGG DONOR

Create futures. Inspire Legacies.

BE THE REASON DREAMS COME TRUE.

Choosing to become an egg donor is one of the most profound ways to help someone achieve their dream of parenthood. Each month, countless eggs naturally go unused, yet through one donation cycle, you can give individuals and couples the opportunity to welcome a child into their lives. From women facing infertility to single parents and same-sex couples, your generosity opens doors to families who might not otherwise have that chance.

At Luxe, we partner with exceptional women who wish to make an extraordinary difference. Our program is designed with your comfort and confidence in mind, offering world-class care, comprehensive support, and meaningful compensation. Along the way, you’ll gain valuable insight into your own fertility while contributing to something truly life changing.

This isn’t just a gift—it’s a legacy. By sharing hope, joy, and possibility, you create a ripple effect that lasts for generations. With Luxe, you’re not just donating—you’re transforming lives. At Luxe, we deeply honor the generosity and grace of our donors. Your selflessness makes the dream of parenthood a reality for countless deserving families, and for that, we are endlessly grateful.

The Egg Donation Process

At Luxe, we believe egg donors are true changemakers. By sharing something so personal, you give hopeful parents the chance to experience the joy of raising a child—a gift beyond measure. We want you to feel informed, valued, and supported through every step of the process.

That’s why we’ve created a clear, step-by-step guide to walk you through the egg donation and embryo development process, so there are never surprises—only confidence in your decision. And throughout your journey, our team is by your side, answering questions, offering guidance, and ensuring your experience is as meaningful for you as it is life-changing for the families you help.

Application Process

After you have assessed yourself to see if you meet our donor requirements, you will submit the online egg donor application. After reviewing, our team will reach out within a few days to discuss your application and arrange a personal phone call to go over the donation journey—from eligibility and medical steps to the meaningful rewards of becoming a donor. It’s also your chance to ask questions, share any concerns, and truly get a feel for what the process will be like with us by your side.

Consultation and Onboarding

Next, you’ll meet with one of our donation specialists to confirm your availability and walk through the process. From there, you will complete paperwork, health questionnaires, background checks, and provide photos and vides to help create a strong donor profile. Then we’ll schedule blood and urine testing to check your AMH levels and confirm a negative drug/smoking status—both required for all Luxe donors. Once results come back and meet program standards, we’ll invite you to a virtual consultation to review your medical history in detail.

Other steps include signing an agreement with our egg bank and completing a counseling session to discuss the emotional and ethical considerations of donation. With each milestone, our team will be by your side, making sure you feel informed, comfortable, and supported every step of the way.

Match with Intended Parent(s)

Once your profile is built, intended parents can begin to match with you. Once you are matched with them, the egg retrieval will be completed within 2-3 months.
If you are just donating your eggs as frozen cohorts (donating first without a match), then this step in the donation process is skipped. You would go straight from onboarding to medical screenings.

Medical Screenings

Our team will handle the coordination of your medical, genetic, and psychological evaluations. At this stage, you’ll visit a clinic for an ultrasound and bloodwork. You’ll also complete a full medical evaluation, including screenings for genetics and infectious diseases. These steps confirm that your sperm meets the highest quality standards—allowing you the chance to make an extraordinary impact in creating a family.
Once your results are in—usually within about four weeks—we’ll review them carefully. If everything meets the required criteria, you’ll officially be welcomed as a Luxe egg donor.

Preparation and Medication Cycle

As your cycle begins, our clinic will provide you with step-by-step guidance to ensure you feel prepared and supported. In the final two weeks of your cycle, you’ll visit the clinic for ultrasounds and bloodwork. These appointments allow us to carefully track your body’s response and pinpoint the perfect timing for egg retrieval. With close monitoring, we can ensure your egg collection happens safely and at the optimal moment.

Throughout this time, you’ll administer self-injected fertility medications for about 10–12 days, which help your ovaries produce multiple mature eggs.

Egg Retrieval

Once the clinic determines the timing is right, the egg retrieval will take place. This is a simple, outpatient procedure done under light anesthesia, so you’ll be comfortable throughout. The process itself is quick—usually just 10–20 minutes—and afterward, you’ll rest for a short while as our caring medical team makes sure you’re feeling well before you head home the same day.
The retrieved eggs will then be transferred to the intended parent for fresh IVF or cryopreserved for transfer at a later date. Your role in the donation IVF process stops after retrieval.

Compensation

Following the egg retrieval procedure when you successfully donate your eggs, our team will be in touch with you to promptly process your compensation.

Post-Retrieval

After your retrieval, you’ll receive personalized care instructions designed to support your recovery and well-being. While most donors are able to return to their usual routines within 24 hours, a few days of light rest is recommended to ensure you feel fully comfortable. It’s normal to experience mild cramping or bloating for up to a week after the procedure.

Types of Egg Donors

When you begin your journey as an egg donor, one of the key things to consider is what type of donor arrangement feels right for you. The options—anonymous, limited, open, or known—each offer different levels of privacy, connection, and possible future contact with the family. Learning about these choices will help you decide which path best matches your comfort level and personal values.

Anonymous (Non-ID Release)

Anonymous egg donation means your identity remains completely confidential, with no direct contact between you and the intended parents. While your personal details are private, families still receive important non-identifying information such as your medical history, physical traits, and education. This option is often handled through egg banks and provides a private, straightforward way to help someone build their family.

Benefits:

     Your identity remains fully private.
Simple, straightforward process with fewer legal steps
     No ongoing commitment after donation

Considerations:

The child will not be able to access your identity later in life
Intended parents only receive limited information about you
No possibility of building an ongoing connection with the family or child
Compensation may be less than Open-ID donors

COMPENSATION

At Luxe, we believe your generosity as an egg donor deserves more than simple thanks—it deserves recognition worthy of the life-changing gift you provide. That’s why we offer compensation that reflects the extraordinary impact of your contribution, often surpassing industry standards. Compensation amounts may vary from donor to donor, but our commitment is always to ensure you feel valued for the unique role you play.

This is not merely about honoring your time and effort—it’s about empowering you to pursue your own aspirations, whether that means furthering your education, exploring the world, or creating lasting financial security. Luxe is your advocate at every step, ensuring your experience is not only rewarding, but truly transformative.
